Thank you! I don't really use apps but I do use volunteering sites such as WOOF'ing and WorkAway to meet people. Also Hostel World and Couchsurfing for accommodations. I prefer to meet organically because I much enjoy the connections when they happen naturally.
Brian, it was enticing to hear something about a country I always wanted to visit.
I also prefer to take a local approach when visiting new places, it makes me feel more connected and not like an ultimate outcast.

That's smart and authentic. Workaway was also a platform that I wanted to use when I travel.
